Reid Eastman, Client Audit Program Manager

Reid holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Sciences - Honors Program from the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada. He is a Quality and Environmental Auditor and VCA North America Client Manager.

Reid is a dynamic and highly motivated individual who has held various positions of responsibility within the automotive manufacturing and assembly arenas. He was responsible for the coordination of all environmental, health and safety issues for a 3 plant operation which spans the Canada / US border. He has been directly involved with the successful clean-up and remediation of several accidental environmental releases, preparation of annual environmental reports for US and Canadian governments, National Pollutant Release Inventory, SARA Form 'R', compilation of air emission information, analysis of data and submission of Toxic Release Inventories. Reid improved emergency preparedness procedures, developed and delivered training sessions relating to preparedness and emergency response for a number of groups, increasing awareness and encouraging preventive actions.

Reid has experience as a Production Supervisor in both automotive manufacturing and heavy truck assembly environments, including forging, heat treatment, assembly, shipping, paint and final quality.

Most recently, Reid was responsible for the successful design and development of a Tier I Supplier Environmental Management System that was subsequently certified to ISO 14001: 1996.
