Hydraulic Hammer Verification

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) and the Mounted Breaker Manufacturers Bureau (MBMB), while still under the auspices of CIMA (Construction Industry Manufacturers Association), began a process in 1998 to enable the certification of members' hydraulic hammer test sites for the measurement of tool energy output.

VCA North America performs third party test site verification on the behalf of AEM. The introduction of a uniform standard test method permits potential customers to make direct comparisons of the energy output from the products of different manufacturers.

Participating MBMB Members

Below is a list of the participating MBMB Members that rely upon VCANA to verify that their test facilities comply with the guidelines established. This enables them to label their product with AEM's 'Tool Energy Rating' decal.
