VCA Malaysia Contact Page
Officially opened on the 27th of July 2004, the Malaysian office, located near Kuala Lumpur, supports many key industry players in both vehicle type approval and management system certification.
The Malaysian office is located in Petaling Jaya, on the edge of Kuala Lumpur. It originally opened by one of VCA's long-standing lead assessors, Paul Townend. Paul has more than ten years service with VCA and for much of that time he has been one of their key client managers in the region. This combination of experience and knowledge of the region made Paul the perfect choice to head up operations in this area. Paul was soon joined in the office by an administration manager, Bee Bee Lim and another lead auditor, Mekala Kannan.
Paul Townend's tour of duty ended in June 2007 and on his return to the UK, Mekala Kannan took over as General Manager. Mekala has extensive experience of the automotive sector in the region and very much looks forward to continuing the excellent work started by Paul.
